Tasting Australia is back with a jam-packed program showcasing the best of South Australian food and beverage! While there is so much to see and do around Adelaide and its surrounds, there’s an extensive list of fantastic regional events taking place all over the State. Venture out to the Fleurieu Peninsula and glamp beneath the stars or experience a horse-drawn cart ride in the Barossa and sample the regions great produce! We’ve found our favourite not-to-miss events this year, check them out below.

A Taste of Beerenberg / Adelaide Hills
One of South Australia’s favourite tourist attractions, the Beerenberg Farm is perhaps most well-known for its strawberry picking and delicious preserves. At this event, guests will be treated to a generous grazing platter featuring local produce and a selection of Bickfords sparkling beverages while learning all about the history of the farm and how it came to be what it is today! This event will also include the chance to pick your own strawberries at the farm, a great event for friends, families and kids!

Krondorf Garden Grazing – Rockford Wines / Barossa
There’s just something about seeing your food grow right in front of you! Journey to the Barossa for Rockford Wines event Krondorf Garden Grazing. Upon arrival, you’ll travel to Krondorf Farm in a horse-drawn carriage where you’ll see, smell, feel and taste your way around the living kitchen garden, sampling lots of the different flavours on offer before indulging in a wine tasting by the fire.
Magic on the Murray / Riverland
Ah the mighty Murray River! This free, relaxed event is a brilliant way to spend the first Saturday of Tasting Australia. Join Whistling Kite Wines as they guide you through their 10 year history in biodynamic wines as you enjoy a delicious grazing platter feautiring the Riverland’s tasty produce. There will be musicians performing throughout the day as you soak in the vineyards beauty.
Glamping Lakeside at Serafino / Fleurieu Peninsula
The latest craze taking over Instagram and Pinterest – glamping is on the cards at Serafino McLaren Vale for one night only! On Saturday the 21 April, settle in to your own private tent lakeside, equipped with all the glamping essentials including a bed, rugs and lamps! Before you soak up the ambience and serenity, delight in a four course long table dinner matched with the wineries tastiest drops. Later on, there will be midnight snacks available before you wake up to a cooked breakfast made by the team! The ultimate end to your Tasting Australia journey.
Lamb Tasting Dinner / Flinders Ranges
Australian’s love their lamb and this event showcases just that! Guests will be wined and dined at Rawnsley Park Woolshed Restaurant where they will tuck into to three different cuts of juicy lamb with each dish matched to wine from the Clare Valley wine region. Learn about the history of the station before ending your evening with South Australian cheese and hand-made chocolates.

A true Tasting Australia experience like no other. Book a Tasting Australia Airlines ticket to one of the three regional destinations, including Kangaroo Island, Mayura Station and Coffin Bay.
