It seems every man, woman, dog and their winery are getting ready to kick off summer in a big way. There’s so many fun, interesting and tasty events on in the Barossa Valley this weekend, we thought we’d better let you know about them.
Have a shucking good time at Schild Estate Wines
Oysters, seafood, wine and beer in the Barossa – that does sound like a shucking good time and Schild Estate wines invite you to be part of it. Oysters and Riesling is the name of the game with Schild Estate providing the spread of food, wine and great company. They’ll be joined by the Angelakis Brothers who bring their master shucker to show us all how it’s done, Squid Inc. who will be serving the tastiest squid and chips, Prancing Pony Brewery who will be gracing us, not only with their presence but with their latest brew, the Kindie Kid pilsner! And Barossa Valley Ice Cream Company, who are – you guessed it – bringing the sweets with their fabulous ice cream and sorbet made from locally sourced ingredients – yum.
But that’s not all, the Little Black Dress party band will be there to keep the music going, the feet tapping and the masses entertained.
It’s everything you ask for to bring in the summer vibes. The fun starts at 11 am at Schild Estate Wines and the best part is, admission is free with a range of food and wine offers available throughout the day.
